- Lot Description
Hawkins Co.Tennessee walnut slant top desk with two sections, poplar and yellow pine secondary wood. Upper case doors open to reveal a center section with one vertical-shaped divider (one missing) flanked by a set of six cubbyholes each side. Lower section with a hinged slant front lid revealing an open compartment. Turned and tapered legs ending in a tapered spike. 52" x 27.25" x 19.5". Mid-19th century.

Condition
Older refinish with ink stains to top of upper case, missing vertical divider inside upper case, missing lock on lower desk. Doors with horizontal shrinkage to upper case section, leaving a gap between doors.
