- Lot Description
American Chippendale style mahogany blockfront ladies desk or dressing table with carved shells, in the Newport, Rhode Island style. Triple carved shell and block design, dovetailed drawers, and bracket feet. 33 3/4" H x 36 3/4" W x 20 1/4" D, Late 19th to early 20th century. Provenance: Private Nashville, TN collection. Condition
Some water stains to top. Minor separation to foot return on left front leg from base. Losses to one back rear bottom foot facing. Overall general wear.
