- Lot Description
Antique Yomut or Yomud Turkmen Ensi rug, wool on wool. Central dark rust field with four windows with bird's head pattern, within three primary borders, all on a brick red ground. Woven in brick red, blue, and cream colors. 6 ft 3 in x 4 ft 10 in. Circa 1880's.
Condition
One small patch repair to one end and losses to one of the borders. 12" horizontal repair to one end and approximately 3" repair to the center. Scattered holes in one window near the three border repairs.
