- Lot Description
1st item: US President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) mourning card embossed with a relief image of a tombstone on a black ground titled "in Memory of Abrahan Lincoln, Requiescat in Pace" with a quote from his second inauguration. 4 5/8" H x 3 1/2" W. Circa April 1865. 2nd item: US President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) satin centennial birth ribbon, featuring an oval bust of Lincoln to the center, titled "Lincoln Centennial" above with the dates February 12th, 1809 - 1909 below. 6" L x 2 1/2" W. Early 20th century.
Condition
1st item: Very minor wear to corners. Some toning to the tombstone image with a couple of areas of toning and one small area of water staining. 2nd item: Adhesive residue along the upper edge, some creasing lines, otherwise overall very good condition.
