1st item: Route 66 Kachina, Hopi-made, ìHilili,î pine and commercial pigments, with classic attributes, 3 1/2îH. 1930-40s. 2nd item: Hopi Kachina, Possibly ìLaguna Gambler,î cottonwood root and pigments (natural and commercial), carved figure standing on melon, 7îH. 1950s. 3rd item: Hopi Kachina, ìHemis Mana,î cottonwood root and pigments (natural and commercial), with classic attributes. 3" H. 1940-50s. 4th item: Hopi Miniature Kachina, cottonwood root and pigments (natural and commercial), with classic attributes, 1 1/2îH. 1940-50s. Provenance: Property from the estate of Dorothy Louise Luhrs, PhD, (1910-1972), Archaelogist with University of New Mexico/School of American Research Field School, whose studies and research included the Una Via Chaco Canyon, NM, Largo Canyon, NM, Guatemala, Mexico, and the Hoopa Indian Reservation in northern California. Luhrs was also president of the Southwestern Anthropological Association from 1950-51.1st item: Older patina showing usage, missing ear tab. 2nd item: Older patina, broken forearm, missing ear tab, chips to base. 3rd item: Older patina and light wear to paint. 4th item: Older patina with minor chip to base edge.
