- Lot Description
Sterling Strauser (Pennsylvania, 1907-1995) two small oil on board paintings, each depicting the head and shoulders of clowns, with their collars and hats rendered in thick impasto. Each with incised signature lower right and date, 1968. Float mounted on cream silk mats in similar but not matching silver gilt leaf molded frames with Lyzon (Nashville) framing labels en verso. Boards - 5"H x 4"W. Frame - 10 1/2"H x 9 1/2"W.
Condition
Each painting in excellent condition, one with some wear to frame.
