This plate was included in the community-driven exhibition called 'A Place at The Table', which examined diversity, equity and inclusion in our Region and beyond.
Tim Louis' artist statement reads:
Representation matters - especially for the most marginalized communities. At its centre is the maple leaf. Encircling it is the Indigenous medicine wheel – the circle represents interconnectivity, and the four colours embody numerous Indigenous concepts. The colours of the Progress Pride Flag are woven throughout, intentionally flowing and blending, showing inclusion and progress.

This plate will also come with a copy of both the Voices (2022) Catalogue, and the A Place at The Table catalogue.
