Ornately hand-carved wooden table by world famous Venetian sculptor Valentino Panciera Besarel (1829–1902).
Solid wood table with cupid carving in center and Italian style Venetian lions head carvings throughout.
Beautiful dark colored wood.
The detail on this table is just out of this World, both sides of the pedestals are heavily carved, the winged lions are stunning and almost life like, the pedestals are attached to a stretcher that is just as amazing, the pedestals Have a carved groove which is where the stretcher slides in, the table has no hardware or nails at all.
The sculptor died in 1902 so this table must date to mid-to late 1800s.
The original label is still attached to the table which is amazing.
Small chips noted in discreet places and there are 4 small pieces that broke off and (we have 3) and they will need to be glued back, it was a clean brake and they fit in perfectly. Good condition.
Measurements:
89 3/4 inches wide x 42.75 inches deep x 33.50 inches high.
30.75 inches high from floor to bottom of the table x 55.50 inches from wing to wing of each pedestal.

For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
