- Lot Description
Stunning and beautiful pedestal desk in the style of Gabriella Crespi and Karl Springer.
The desk is extremely well built and with great attention to detail.
The piece is completely covered in reeded bambo, the bottom of the frame is embossed in solid brass and the top is lined with leather.
Really stunning piece of work, the corners are made with the bamboo cut so precisely attached perfectly to follow the contour of the rounded corners, the leather top is framed in a thin piece of bamboo attached with small nails and no nails are out of place.
The piece is very heavy, just everything about the way was made and executed shows how much thought went into creating this piece.

60 inches wide x 30 inches deep x 31 inches deep including the handles x 30 inches high.
Knee space: 25.5 inches from floor to bottom of the desk x 27.75 inches wide x 27 inches deep.<
