The 3 pieces, tea pot , sugar and creamer, are made of brass, designed and crafted by Silversmith "Coco" Castillo. Justo Lucio Castillo whom after winning a design contest in 1932 by designing a bracelet which he named 'Pulsera de Cocos" he adopted the name Coco Castillo.
Justo and his brother, Don Antonio Castillo, both who were apprentices, designed and worked with William Spratling in the 1930's and started their own shop named Los Castillo in 1939. The exterior of the pieces is brass; the interior of each piece is silver in color.
