The metales casados technique was developed in Taxco Guerrero in the 30's and 40's
This sculpture is a good example of that technique, the combination of brass, copper and avalon is the perfect combination to create the striking look they were looking for.
The piece has great attention to detail and the right tones in the right places.
The piece is marked underneath the tail.
Metals Casados, handwrought.
Measurements:
7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 1.50 inches high.
