Polychromed and Parcel Gilt Jardinières circa 1736, each with circular lobed body with gilt rim, body with fine prunus branch, hoho bird and peony decoration, 6-1/2 x 12 in., each with later carved hardwood stand. Condition: excellent condition, each with hole in bottom (as made), only very light surface wear, one with tiny hairline crack at rim (approximately 1/2 in.), scattered tiny burst bubbles and other very minor firing flaws, very light interior soiling, one peony with area of retouch at center (visible under UV), other scattered tiny flaws, one bowl with areas of paint loss to chest area of left facing phoenix.
