Jars (Lincoln County, North Carolina, 1829-1892), one with runny olive glaze, two lug handles, stamped "JFS 2" at shoulder, 11-1/2 in., crack and repair through entire base and body, glaze anomalies as made, repair to rim; one with dark olive glaze, two lug handles, stamped "JFS 2" at shoulder, 11-1/4 in., large rim chip and small chips to both handles, glaze voids as made both with grease and residue.
