smaller Italian Flintlock pistol, Brescia Italy, 1700s, marked "G.M. LOGIA" on lock plate, 8-1/4 in. smooth bore flat top barrel with gilt or brass hallmark surrounded by lilies, engraved barrel tang, ornate iron furniture with various finials, iron tipped wooden ramrod, carved wooden handle, butt cap with knob, 13-1/2 in.; large ornately decorated French Flintlock pistol, scrollwork engraved lock plate, 13 in. smooth bore decorated flat top tapered barrel, engraved barrel tang, grotesque head iron work side plate, impressed figural trigger guard decoration with urn finial, ornate iron work thumb rest, twisted iron work ramrod thimbles, iron tipped ramrod, grotesque head butt cap, 19-3/4 in.

metal surfaces on pistols with patina, oxidation, slight surface pitting, handling wear to wooden parts including dings and scratches, large flintlock with misshapen barrel end, 2-1/4 in. loss to right stock forend, 4 in. hairline in wood to left stock forend, loss of sidelock screw, Italian pistol with hairline break to wrist of handle, other hairlines at trigger guard, various abrasions to wood, possible repair to right front forend, hairline at right barrel pin, oxidation in both bores, both triggers and action appear to function
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
