all likely from Perry County, salt glaze two handle jar, ovoid form, banded incised line decoration at three places on body, also at neck, and on flared rim, two applied strap handles, likely made by Benjamin Williams or James Franklin Mortin, circa late 1800s, 16-1/2 in.; two salt glaze jugs, ovoid tapered forms, incised spouts with collared rims, applied strap handles, unknown makers 14-1/4 and 15 in.

glaze voids and anomalies as made, surface wear and abrasions, minor glaze and clay body frits, stains, two handle jar with restoration to the entire rim, top of jar, and one entire handle, two 5 in. hairlines down from rim, 11 in. angular hairline around body of jar, base edge wear and chips, large jug with stabilized crack up side of jar across shoulder then back down to the base, another 5 in. hairline up from base, stabilized radial crack on base, rim chip with wear, heavy wear to base edge, small jug with kiln debris, rim wear and chip, base edge wear and chips

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
