large stoneware jug with elaborate cobalt flourish slip decoration to front of jar, stamped "WHITES UTTICA" and "3" at shoulder, thick collared rim and applied strap handle, 16 in.; ovoid stoneware jar stamped "I. SEYMOUR & CO. TROY" at shoulder, painted cobalt "3" capacity mark, rounded rim, applied strap handle, 15-1/4 in.; smaller stoneware jug stamped "WEST TROY, POTTERY", painted cobalt flourish to front of jar, straight rim applied strap handle, 11 in.

glaze voids and anomalies as made, clay body anomalies, kiln debris, surface abrasions, Whites Uttica jug with 2-1/2 in. and 1 in. chip to base edge, residue to exterior, other base edge chips, I. Seymour jug with residue to exterior, underglazed areas, firing separation, kiln debris, West Troy jug with repair to handle, residue to exterior, firing flaw to base edge

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
