.54 caliber, 8-5/8 in. round smoothbore barrel, brass blade front sight, "ET" over "P" proof marks to left side of barrel, "US" proof mark obscured, lock plate marked "U.S." over "S. NORTH", dated "1828" behind hammer, brass flash pan, iron backstrap, butt cap, trigger guard, and barrel band, swivel type steel ramrod, long steel belt hook at side plate, inspectors mark in oval next to side plate along with stamped "H 17", 13-1/4 in. overall

Condition
patina, some oxidation, and light wear to metal surfaces, handling wear to wood, tiny chips and scratches, tiny hair lines to wood near inspectors oval and behind lock plate, chip to wood at front of lock plate, oxidation in bore, trigger and action seem to function

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
