- Lot Description
Mahogany Recamiers Philadelphia, circa 1825, each with fine leaf-carved frame set on animal paw feet with cornucopia returns, ash and other mixed secondary woods, both set on casters, 34-1/2 x 71 x 23 in.. Condition: refinished, frames in good condition with scattered minor cracks and surface flaws, modern upholstery in good repair, not fully examined under upholstery (undersides of frames exposed and one appears to be in good condition with some replacements to blocking/webbing supports; the other with later stain at underside, probably replaced rear seat rail and blocking). Provenance: Private Collection
