Mississippi Delta, possibly Woodside, late 18th/early 19th century, figured cherry with poplar and pine secondary, molded cornice over inlaid loop decorated tympanum, inlaid double paneled doors opening to shelved interior with two dovetailed drawers, flanked by line inlaid quarter column inset case sides, serpentine skirt, original tall French feet, original brass drawer pulls, original backboards with cut nails, 84-3/4 x 50 x 20 in.

very good overall, original feet and blocking (old splice repair at one rear foot), cracks, patches, and distress to skirt veneer (one side skirt restored), hinges replaced, possible restorations at drawer bottoms, some minor patches at door framing, brass door escutcheons replaced, shelves are old replacements, other scratches and surface abrasions, typical shrinkage and very minor warping to doors (accompanied by copy of receipt from Miguel Saco, New York for conservation work "repairing, cleaning, touching-up, making key, and finishing...")
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
