- Lot Description
late 18th/early 19th century, paint decoration likely mid 19th century, poplar and pine throughout with pegged construction, boldly painted with combed grain paint in brick red and ochre to pale yellow, upper case with two glazed doors opening to blue green painted interior with fixed shelves, one with spoon rack, lower case with three dovetailed drawers over two paneled doors, 89-1/2 x 60 x 19-1/2 in.
Condition
in fine condition with early dry paint surface inside and out, scattered paint wear, minor abrasions and losses including at muntins in one area of top, upper case lacking two plate rails, scattered minor shrinkage cracks, drawer pulls replaced with minor paint retouch, other scattered minor paint retouch, one rear foot replaced
Inscribed in paint on top "WN Painter & Decorator". Some paint retouch and restoration, primarily at drawer facings and top front of lower case. See blacklight images on our website. - Shipping Info

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
