mid-19th century, marked "Deringer Philadelphia" on both barrel tang and lock plate, approximately .44 caliber, wooden stocks, checkered butts, silver fittings, 7-1/4 in. overall length. Condition: mechanism functions, mismatched hammers, wood and metal surfaces show wear consistent with age, wood in good condition; hammers not matched.
