- Lot Description
English, circa 1813-1815, "Japan Fence" pattern in cobalt and iron red with early lustre and gilt on all sides and interior, four scrolling bracket feet, 6-3/4 x 6-1/8 in., some wear to lustre. Provenance: each with sticker for Valerie Howard, London, purchased 2001; Tennessee Private Collection; Note: Valerie Howard was a prominent dealer of Mason's in London. After her death, Christie's sold the remaining stock of her shop.
