and Flame Stitch Side Chairs Massachusetts, 1740-1760, walnut, maple and other mixed woods, each with vasiform splat over a flame-stitch upholstered possibly original slip seat, scalloped seat rail, cabriole legs with block-and-turned stretchers, pad feet, 42 x 21 x 19-1/2 in., good condition overall, probably old refinishing, minor wear at feet, scattered surface wear, one with two small patches at front leg with some associated finish losses.
