(White County, Georgia, 1917-1998), glossy blackish/green mottled alkaline glaze, flared rim and applied strap handle at back shoulder, broken rock teeth, glazed over white clay eyes, painted black pupils, pointed ears and nose, incised on base "Lanier Meaders", 8-1/2 in.. Condition: glaze voids and anomalies as made, rock teeth broken possibly as made, glaze chip to nose tip and left ear, firing separations around mouth, left ear, and back base edge as made.
