Memorial Bracelet mid-19th century, 14 kt. gold with gold scrolled and foliate motifs over black enamel, central oval hinged locket opens to reveal a lock of hair under glazed glass, engraved on lid, "In Memory of Thomas Richard Hesketh, BORN MARCH I .MDCCCXLVIII, DIED MAY XXII.MDCCCXLIX. Take heed that ye desire not one of these little ones for I say unto you that in Heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in Heaven. Mathew 18th 10th Verse", 12.3 to 43.6 mm., inner circumference 160 mm., 38.2 grams, very light scratches.
