late 20th century, unsigned, comprising a mirrored vanity with matching side chair and pair of commodes, vanity set with beveled circular mirror, over fabric mounted base with pink painted lower shelf, 72 x 58 x 23 in.; ten-sided commodes with figured maple with pink paint/lacquer, glass tops resting on fabric lined supports, bird's eye maple lined interiors, 27-1/4 x 20 x 20 in.; side chair 31 x 18 x 19 in.
Note: John Dunnigan is a designer, maker and educator. His work has been shown in over 100 exhibitions, including 10 solo exhibitions, and is included in several private and public collections such as the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and the National Museum of American Art at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. Dunnigan's refined and elegantly crafted studio furniture has been inspired by seventeenth-and eighteenth-century American pieces. His work displays a sensitivity to the wood he sculpts for his furniture, which is embellished with beautifully upholstered fabrics or inlaid wood. .

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
