- Lot Description
(Florida/Hawaii, born 1931) Glades Afire, Florida, circa 1962, signed lower right "James Hutchinson", oil on canvas, 30-1/8 x 40-1/4 in.; carved and gilt wood frame,. Condition: retouch at center, original stretcher and tacking edge, slight stretcher marks, some areas of crackle; minute flaking at left in areas of crackle; frame with abrasions. Provenance: Estate of James Cox Barrett, Flat Rock, North Carolina; By descent; lot accompanied by a letter from the artist dated April 18, 1969 and an exhibition brochure
