circa late 1600s, heavy 25 in. iron octagonal to round to flared barrel, English armory marking stamped "MA 812" near barrel tang, brass blade front sight, raised split iron rear sight, large 7 in. unmarked dog lock, iron side plate, large walnut wood stock with carving around lock and side plate, flared left side of stock with cheek rest and carving, iron butt plate and trigger guard, copper forend band, iron ramrod guide, 39-3/4 in overall

handling wear, chips and abrasions to stock, missing ramrod, oxidation and patina to metal components, some pitting, corrosion in barrel, loss of forward barrel pin, 8 in. hairline to left side of forend, 8 in. split to right side of forend with 3 in. loss to forend edge, old pest damage to stock, other minor chips, dings and abrasions, cock, frizzen and trigger appear to be in working order

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
