salt glaze storage jar, stamped "O.L. & A.K. BALLARD / BURLINGTON, VT.", cobalt floral decoration, slip glazed interior, stamped "3" at shoulder, lug handles, rounded flared rim, 12 in.; salt glaze stoneware jug stamped "GEDDES", cobalt floral decoration, stamped "2", large strap handle, thick rim, 14 in.; "WHITES UTICA" stamped salt glaze jug, "2" capacity mark, cobalt floral decoration, strap handle, thick rim, 13-3/4 in.; storage jar with cobalt vine and leaf decoration around the belly of jar, slip glazed interior, ridged lug handles, straight neck, 12-1/2 in.
Condition
glaze voids and anomalies as made, surface abrasions, minor chips to clay bodies, staining, residue, "BALLARD" jar with chip to interior rim and lid shelf, chips to handle, other handle with small chip 3/4 in. chip to side of jar, other minor chips, "GEDDES" jug with 1 in. base edge chip, "WHITES" jug with 1 in. rim chip, chip to handle, other surface abrasions and chips, base edge wear, unsigned jar with residue to exterior, 3-1/2 and 6-1/2 in. hairlines down from neck, tiny rim chips and wear, staining

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
