English, early 19th century: one baluster form with richly gilt handles, sprays of roses and wildflowers on light green ground, gilt long-tailed bird in reserve around straight neck, pink-banded foot, 7-1/8 in., foot ring and base with restoration; one with decorated interior rim, 5-1/2 in., dark blue glaze with runs as made; pair "Gold Rose" pattern, circa 1815, bat handles, overgilt cobalt ground, 5-3/4 in., extensive gilt loss, restored interior firing crack; miniature vase with upraised handles, "Gold Rose" pattern, 4-3/8 in., foot broken off and restored with retouch to gilding all with wear to gilt elements. Provenance: pair cobalt vases, Valerie Howard; Tennessee Private Collection; Note: Valerie Howard was a prominent dealer of Mason's in London. After her death, Christie's sold the remaining stock of her shop.
