Six hand colored aquatints after W.J. Shayer, 1876, engraved by E.G. Hester, Published by Arthur Ackermann, 191 Regent Street, London, October 1st, 1877, likely restrikes, including A Flying Leap, plate, 16-7/8 x 15-7/8 in.; Here Come the Hounds, plate, 16-7/8 x 15-7/8 in.; Gone Away, plate, 17-1/8 x 15-7/8 in.; Drawn Blank, 16-7/8 x 15-7/8 in.; Run to Earth, 16-7/8 x 15-7/8 in.; The Return Home, 17 x 16 in.; matching gilt wood frames, 24-7/8 x 23-3/8 in.; and a pair of hand colored engravings from the series McQueen's Huntings, J.N. Sturgess, England c. 1875, including Now They?re Off, plate, 18-1/8 x 23-1/4 in.; Restive At The Post, plate, 18-1/8 x 23-1/4 in.; Now They?re Off, plate, 18-1/8 x 23-1/4 in.; reverse ogee maple veneer frames, 23-3/4 x 28-7/8 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
