Chinese, 4th century BC or earlier, highly decorated studded bronze [Yu], Taotie and dragon decorations below lip and on foot, geometric patterns and regularly spaced studs cover the majority of the [Yu], patination of Botryoidal forms of malachite and azurite overall, extensive azurite patination on base, 6-1/4 x 6-3/4 x 9-3/4 in.

excellent condition with corrosion, heavy surface dirt accretion consistent with age and burial; base ring with small loss and minor dent
