12 gauge, SN 98DU-2253, 27-1/4 in. barrel, raised barrel rib, double bead sights, 2-3/4 in or 3 in. shell capacity, right side of barrel stamped "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC., ILLION, N.Y.", hallmarks near chambers on both sides, polished receiver with engraved duck scenes to both sides and engraved "DUCKS UNLIMITED", nicely figured finely checkered forend, nicely figured finely checkered pistol grip stock with Remington butt pad and "RA" butt cap, gold trigger, LOP 14 in., 48 in. overall

Condition
exterior of barrel appears to retain most original bluing, bright shiny bore, minor abrasions and speckles of oxidation, very few miniscule dings, anomaly to finish on left side of forend, stock in good condition, miniscule handling marks, very little evidence of use, minor oxidation to receiver, action and trigger appear to be in working order

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
