- Lot Description
American, early 20th century, two pairs of curtains, two similar fragment panels, and one hanging panel of light green brown silk satin with pattern of polychrome flowers and birds on a meandering branch, pale yellow and light brown braid trim with silk covered floriform wooden buttons and pendant drop fringe along inner and lower edge of each panel, cotton sateen lining with cotton flannel interlining, brass curtain hooks stitched to reverse, 45 x 93 in. and 30 x 92 in.; fragments 25 x 63 in. and 42 x 59 in.; hanging panel 43 x 60 in.
Condition
both pairs of drapes with losses to hanging tassels, scattered stains especially to lower lining, possibly from pest damage, some restitching; fragments with shattering to silk lining, fraying to hanging tabs

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
