Side Chair British, 18th century, fine leaf and [rocaille] carved crest and pierced splat, carved knees and ball-and-claw feet, rich mellow reddish-brown color, seat set with fine needlework and petit point upholstery with brass tacking, 37-1/2 in., good condition overall, minor repair at top of crestrail, typical minor wear to feet, patch and possible repair at one toe, modern upholstery in good condition, not examined under upholstery.
