circa 1856, .31 caliber, 6 in. octagonal barrel with "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY" stamped on top, brass bead front sight, matching serial number 129862 on three spots under frame, cylinder, barrel wedge, and backstrap, "Wagon Scene" and "COLT'S PATENT" on cylinder, "COLT'S PATENT" on left side of frame, overall 11 in., comes in fitted case with two bullet molds, an eagle powder flask, all with Colt marks, a cap tin, some shot, and a cartridge envelope box, underneath the box lid is a paper label with directions for loading and cleaning Colt pistols

gun with oxidation and pitting to metal surfaces, dents and dings to barrel edges, some discoloration to brass surfaces, light rust to interior of barrel and cylinder, handling wear to grips with dents dings and scratches, large abrasion to left side of grip, appears to be functioning mechanically, bullet molds with oxidation and pitting, powder flask in good condition, case with chips, dings and handling wear, no key

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
