American or Continental, 19th through early 20th century, assorted group of cotton embroidered curtains and bed covering, including window treatment of off white sheer cotton of printed abstract flowers and leaf design, pair of panels 120 x 96 in. and pair of side drapes 62 x 143 in.; pair of 19th century sheer cotton tambour curtains with scalloped edge, white chain stitch tambour embroidery and drawnwork in matching design of alternating floral sprays, upper edge of each panel hand stitched with yellow thread: self fabric turned back and stitched in place as a facing; wide woven cotton tape stitched along center of facing, 122 x 72-1/2 in. and 121 x 72 in.; bedspread, probably early 19th century, of off white sheer cotton muslin with white chain stitch tambour embroidery and drawnwork in floral and abstracted floral border motifs; left, right, and lower edges scalloped, with satin stitch embroidery, upper edge turned back and hemmed with running stitch, 99-1/2 x 54-1/2 in.; four pair of white cotton net curtains, each with appliqué and insertions of tape and drawnwork in abstracted floral and scroll motifs at inner and lower edge, inner and lower edge of each panel scalloped; outer edge and upper edge finished with 1/4 in. wide woven tape, hand stitched, 35 x 110 in. to 42 x 110 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
