New York, circa 1805, comprising: a set of seven matching chairs, one arm and six side, each with carved backs, molded stiles, orange silk over the rail upholstery with brass tacking, reeded legs with spade feet, ash and poplar secondary; together with four closely matching side chairs, Prince of Wales plume to backs, upholstered in orange leather; 36-1/2 x 21-1/2 x 20-1/4 in.

set of seven in excellent condition overall, some later tacking strips at bottom of seat rails, other consolidation at tacking surfaces, seat rails lacking medial braces, armchair with minor sun fading at arm tops, stains and wear to upholstery; set of four in excellent condition, lacking medial braces, some later tacking strips and scars, leather upholstery in good condition with light stains; all 11 chairs with typical minor bumps at edges and other scattered surface flaws
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
