most 18th/19th century, comprising: seven British enamel decorated Battersea examples of oval or circular form; one French faience example with monogram of Joseph Olery; silver pill box of oval form; tortoiseshell box with carved and pierced lid; heart shaped leather box with engraved silver plaque, marked "SES Genuine Leather" on underside; largest 7/8 x 2-1/8 x 3 in.; together with a sterling silver and enamel decorated push bell with mother of pearl finial, marked "Sterling 1492", 2 in. diameter

Condition
surface dirt and accretion, scattered cracks and areas of retouch to enamel decoration, some crazing (especially to pink example and urn decorated example), tarnish/discoloration to silver, one lid slightly loose on hinges, some losses to mirrors (two with heavy losses and scratches, two with minor losses around edges), one with small chip to lid; bell does not ring

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
