ITALY, b.1948 An Aquatint drypoint etching by Italian contemporary artist Mimmo Paladino. Titled "Tra gli Ulivi" (Between the Olive Trees), the work exemplifies the Expressionist Revival movement to which Paladino was an original member. The work is signed and dated and retains original RISD exhibition label on verso.
Provenance: Exhibited at Rhode Island Collects Paper, RISD Museum, March 7th to April 27th, 1986. Exhibited at RISD Museum, 1900 to Now: Twentieth Century Art from Rhode Island Collections, January 22nd to May 1st, 1988.
