JAPAN, MEIJI PERIOD A large and impressive Japanese Meiji period bronze tripod censer. The censer is decorated with relief panels of birds in trees adorned with large figural dragon handles and Shishi Lion finial on elongated shapely legs. The censer sits on an elaborate tiered base.60 1/2" tall
Condition
Minor losses to pointed work where two bases meet together, see photos. Otherwise very good condition.
