SWITZERLAND, 1901-1999 A large bronze sculpture of a tiger attributed to Raoh Shorr. The tiger is depicted ferociously pouncing with mouth open and claws exposed. The work is signed "Schorr" on the inside of the left rear thigh. The sculpture was falsely but lightly inscribed "MENE" on the right front forearm. The tiger is mounted on a black marble plinth.
With base 8 3/8" tall by 20 15/16" wide by 8 3/4" deep
Overall good condition, chipping to marble base.
