CONNECTICUT, 18TH CENTURY A Connecticut Queen Anne cherry with poplar and pine secondary woods highboy. The chest stands on svelte cabriole legs with pad feet rising into a shaped apron with acorn drop finials supporting a one over three drawer low section with center fan carved drawer front surmounted by a five over four drawer top chest with matching fan carved drawer front and flat top. The highboy retains its original brasses and backer boards. A fine example of a period Connecticut highboy.
