- Lot Description
Walter King Stone (American, 1875-1949) framed oil on canvas of an autumn mountain landscape, signed lower left "Walter King Stone"; measures approximately 46-5/8" in height by 54-5/8" in width with canvas measurement of approximately 48" in height by 40" in width. In overall good condition with the exception of three (3) small tears, please see photographs for details. Walter King Stone was an illustrator, painter and writer, coming to Cornell University as a Professor in 1920, he taught in the Department of the Fine Arts in the College of Architecture for twenty-three years.
