- Lot Description
Walter John Beauvais (English, 1942-1998) oil on canvas depicting a beach scene with red balloons. Signed by the artist to the bottom left hand corner. Framed under glass with the frame measuring approximately 29-1/2" in height by 33-1/2" in width and a sight image measuring approximately 19-1/2" in height by 23-1/4" in width. Walter John Beauvais was born in 1942 near Windsor, Berkshire, England. He was a grandson of French artist and lithographer Charles Henri Beauvais (1862-1909) and son of Arnold Beauvais(1886-1984), artist and one time President of the London Sketch Club.
