Vincente de Paredes (Spanish, 1845-1903) late 19th century china white enhanced lithograph titled "The Recital" and depicting a parlor scene with the Baroque composer George Frideric Handel. Signed "V. de PAREDES" to the lower right hand corner. The piece is in an opulent frame which measures approximately 28" in height by 35" in width with the sight image measuring approximately 20" in height by 30" in width. The piece is coming loose in the frame and is in overall good condition consistent with age. Vincente de Paredes (Spanish, 1845-1903) was known for painting historical pieces, primarily of the French Court and nobility.
