Eight vintage "The Richmond News Leader" newspapers chronicling various events throughout the 20th century; includes the April 17, 1970 newspaper chronicling the Apollo 13 crew's return to Earth, a page from the October 15, 1940 newspaper, the March 11, 1944 newspaper chronicling the Hotel Jefferson fire, the October 17, 1957 newspaper chronicling Queen Elizabeth's visit to Jamestown, VA., the January 20, 1937 newspaper chronicling Roosevelt's inauguration, the August 21, 1969 and August 22, 1969 newspapers chronicling the Virginia floods, and the February 12, 1973 newspaper chronicling the Outer Banks flood damage; all are housed in sealed plastic bags and are in Very Good condition with slight age appropriate wear.
