- Lot Description
Swiss chalet music box that plays a Swiss mountain song and is full of intricate details including rocks on the roof, flowers throughout, logs and a bench on the porch, and shutters; roof opens to reveal the inside of the cottage and trigger the song; also doubles as a stereoscope; when viewed through the front two windows the two images at the back of the cottage merge to form an Alpine landscape with two children in the foreground; marked "Made in Switzerland" to bottom with a sticker that reads "Swiss Mountain Song"; marked to inside stereoscope piece "EMDE"; measures approximately 4-1/2" tall, 7-1/4" wide, and 4-1/4" deep; in Very Good condition and still playing music (although may need some work as a slight buzzing occurs with music); there is also two small pieces detached, but included, that can be repaired.
