Art glass vase with purple floral depictions throughout; signed to bottom "Roger Gandelman Rainbow Glassworks"; measures approximately 5-5/8" tall and 3-1/8" in diameter; in Good overall condition with no apparent chips or cracks. Roger Gandelman was born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1952. He attended University of Denver in 1971, University of Hartford in 1972-1973, Southern Connecticut State University in 1977 and the Penland School of Crafts in 1978. Gandelman opened his own glass studio in 1974 and has not moved since. His work can be found in a few selected museums around the country such as the Sandwich Glass Museum (Sandwich, MA), New Bedford Glass Museum (New Bedford, MA), Hudson River Museum (Yonkers, NY) and Slater Museum of Art (Norwich, CT).
