Morimura Brothers (1876-1941) was a Japanese import house based in New York City, NY. They supplied bisque head German like copies of dolls to the American market and others, during World War I and after 1915-1926. They also sold celluloid dolls, Nanking (cotton body) China head dolls, composition dolls made by Bester Manufacturing and dolls made of rubber. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser, & Bremo Auctions does not handle shipping quotes, nor the packing or shipping of any items post-auction. We will, however, happily share our list of trusted shippers upon request prior to the auction, and following payment of won items post-auction. All items must be paid for within ONE WEEK of auction end to avoid further penalty and added storage fees. If shipping out-of-state, expedient shipping is expected, storage fees will only be incurred if communications with us are not forthcoming and productive. Please contact us directly with any questions PRIOR to bidding, if at all possible: info@bremoauctions.com. Please note that some property that is sold at auction can be subject to laws governing export form the U.S., such as items that include material from some endangered species. Import restrictions from foreign countries are subject to these same governing laws. Granting of licensing for import or export of goods from local authorities is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Denial or delay of licensing will not constitute cancellation or delay in payment for the total purchase price of these lots.
